As mentioned in this month’s Trail Mix article, “What is A Dementia Friendly Community”, Senior Helpers will be holding two days of Dementia Virtual Tours for those interested in understanding what a person living with dementia may experience day to day. The process is a scientifically proven method that builds awareness by temporarily altering participants’ physical and sensory abilities, simulating changes associated with cognitive decline.
