May is a month that invites reflection. As we approach Memorial Day, we pause to honor lives marked by sacrifice, service, and care for others. It is also a meaningful time to reflect on how we live out those same values in our own community at Trinity Woods.
One of the most powerful ways we do that is through the Good Samaritan Fund. This fund exists for a simple but profound reason: to ensure that residents who have called Trinity Woods home can remain here—even if their financial circumstances change unexpectedly. Life events can happen to anyone. When they do, the Good Samaritan Fund quietly steps in to provide support and stability.
“Life doesn’t always go according to plan. Unexpected changes can quickly impact even the most carefully managed resources—but the Good Samaritan Fund is there to help with compassion and ensure our residents are cared for,” said Garrett Lee, Trinity Woods CEO.
Today, this fund is making a real difference. Each year, approximately 24 residents across
our campus receive assistance, totaling nearly $366,000 in support. That means neighbors
remain neighbors, friendships remain intact, and families experience peace of mind knowing
their loved ones are cared for.
Giving to the Good Samaritan Fund is more than a financial contribution—it is a commitment to the promise that defines Trinity Woods: that we care for one another through every stage of life.
As you consider ways to give this season, you may wish to honor the spirit of Memorial Day by making a gift in memory or in honor of someone who has made a difference in your life. The need for this Fund continues to grow, and every gift—large or small—helps sustain it. Together, we ensure that Trinity Woods remains not just a place to live, but a place where compassion endures, and no one walks alone.
