Contemplative Walking Adventure @ John Hope Franklin Reconciliation Park

TW Chaplain Weldon Tisdale will join us for a contemplative walk for 30 minutes at Reconciliation Park which memorializes the Tulsa Race Riot/Massacre of 1921, called the worst civic disturbance in American history. The Park also tells the story of African Americans’ role in building Oklahoma and features bronze works by the prominent sculptor Ed Dwight. If you want to get in more steps, you can also walk the adjacent Pathway to Hope. Then we’ll have breakfast at Fulton Street Coffee & Books on Greenwood Avenue. Meet at Spann Wellness Center at 9:00. Bring money for breakfast. You will not be called with a pick up time. Reservations required.
